Cynthia's journey towards owning her own business

Cynthia Timiebi Esiburu is a MSc Management Student at Manchester Metropolitan University. She aspires to own a successful business, as well as acquiring more skills for her future career. As part of her studies, she is required to undertake a one-year placement in an organisation, and Aspire Recruitment was there to help her pick the right one.

Cynthia is very driven and motivated, with lots of ambitions. After finding out about us through an online job-search engine, she let our team know the areas in which she wanted to develop skills, such as how to work as part of a team, and how to multitask. We were keen to find her some work experience that would allow her to achieve this.

After we had a one-to-one meeting to review her skillset and preferences, we found a selection of jobs that could work for her. Cynthia interviewed for a role as an Archive Administrator, and she got the role! The role includes several tasks that fit with Cynthia’s preferences, such as managing and being responsible for large data files, honing her communication skills, and applying high levels of attention to detail. This placement has helped her to develop skills that will be invaluable in herfuture career.

She told us that she’s enjoying her role, and spoke more about the support she received from our team:
