Support the Salvation Army with its Christmas Present Appeal

Each year the Salvation Army runs its Christmas Present Appeal which collects food and gifts to donate to families to help ease the pressure that Christmas can often bring to families that are less fortunate.

For the last few years, the Aspire Recruitment team have volunteered their time to support the appeal and help make a real difference in someone’s life at Christmas time, and have been busy collecting gifts and making food parcels to gift to less fortunate children and are looking for more donations in the run up to the Christmas holidays.

Support the Christmas present appeal this year and help transform the lives of people we help.

The Aspire team are team are now looking for people to donate gifts for teenagers, to support its local centre in providing gifts for ages 13 – 16 years old.
Types of gifts you could donate include; books, make-up, toiletries (try to make them non-allergic ingredients if possible), gloves, scarves, hats, t shirts, hair accessories and gift vouchers.

You can donate by popping in to see the Aspire Recruitment team at Lee House, Oxford Road. Manchester M1 6EU or you can find your local centre through the Christmas Present Appeal website here.

The team are looking for volunteers on Tuesday 10 – Friday 13 December to help make the parcels they give to less fortunate children, and you can also volunteer to make deliveries on Monday 16 and Tuesday 17 December.
