We are looking to recruit an
experienced Facilities Manager on behalf of a large educational establishment.
You must be passionate about the Facilities Management industry. You will have
a positive, can do attitude with a strong customer service background in
addition to excellent communication skills and the ability to work
well pressure. Knowledge of the Higher Education sector would be an
advantage but not essential.
· Provide effective management and
leadership to the Facilities Team in your area of operation, ensuring the
delivery of compliant, customer focussed, efficient and effective services
supporting the services objective of proving exemplar, best in class services
within the sector, supporting the delivery of key business objectives.
· Promote an integrated FM culture
across all sites, through alliances with internal and external stakeholders
ensuring that the FM service, working in partnership with key stakeholders,
provide a seamless FM service to all our customers.
· Provide management and monitoring of
multi-service contracts, ensuring contractual compliance and where possible
reduction in costs and/or increases in quality.
· Through continuous review of
processes and procedures ensure the service develops a high-performance culture
where FM staff strive to 'make a difference' as the service strives to deliver
best in class FM operations in support of the business’s key strategic
· Liaise with other business managers
over the provision of catering, conferencing, security, environmental
sustainability, maintenance and accommodation, to ensure the provision of
excellence in the delivery of customer service to all staff and visitors.
· The post holder will also collaborate
with key external stakeholders in the implementation of change initiatives and
the effective management / optimum development of space and facilities within
the designated area.
· IoSH/NeBOSH Qualified
· BIFM Accreditation
