Customer Service Operator

Manchester City Centre

Up to £18,000 Pro Rata

Part-time (30 hours per week) / Permanent

 

My client runs an exciting programme open to all teenagers aged 15-17 which gives them a chance to explore, be inspired and find their passion! They are currently recruiting a dynamic team of Customer Service Operators to aid this process and make everything as great for these young people as it can be. You will do this by speaking to both young people eager to book their experience, actively engage and influence alongside managing the questions of parents through both inbound and outbound phone conversations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

·        Work proactively with recruitment teams to convert my client's expression of interest into Programme sign-ups.

·        Contact with customers in line with the NCS customer journey.

·        Highlight special circumstances where appropriate.

·        Provide swift, effective resolution to customer enquiries, and customer complaints.

·        Ensure that customers are clear on the next steps in the process following every interaction.

·        Record customer information using Salesforce in compliance with the data standards set out by NCS.

·        Ensure all work is carried out within Growth Company and National Citizen Service procedures, guidelines and policies.

·        Ensure all work adheres to the relevant compliance and security standards.

·        Undertake training as necessary to gain, maintain and enhance the skills, competencies and knowledge required to undertake the role to the highest standards.

·        Comply with, and understand, safeguarding policy and procedures and take action as appropriate regarding matters of the safety, protection and wellbeing of colleagues and customers.

·        Share knowledge gained in the course of operating within the Customer Experience Hub with colleagues and managers to actively support continuous service improvement.

·        Act professionally and courteously as a representative of the Growth Company and NCS in all customer interactions.

·        Support specific marketing campaigns.

·        Service will cover a varied working pattern which may include evening and weekends.
