Customer Service Executive

t-for-profit organisation in Greater Manchester, with the goal of pushing forward economic, business and personal development within communities. My client is currently looking to recruit a Customer Service Executive to provide professional and efficient support service to their business, that is, acting as the central point of contact for commercial customers and the commercial delivery team.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Dealing with customer enquiries and incoming sales leads over the phone and email
  • Updating and maintaining internal systems, e.g. CRM system, trackers and supporting systems with new leads, opportunities and quotes.
  • Supporting the preparation of customer booking forms, proposals and presentations.
  • Creating new customer sales orders and invoices on the finance system.
  • Supporting the Commercial Teams with diary management, processing expenses, organisation. of national and international travel and accommodation.
  • Supporting weekly/monthly sales and finance reporting for the business.
  • Providing general administration support for all aspects of the business.
  • Ensuring commercial projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Supporting the facilitation of 360 feedback to identify and convert up selling opportunities.
  • Managing the client database.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Skills:

  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal professional telephone manner.
  • Competent user of all aspects of Microsoft Office, Outlook and Databases.
  • Excellent planning, organisation and attention to detail.
  • The ability to both follow established standard operating procedures, and to create and document new administrative processes.
  • Ability to liaise with people on all levels, including senior executives. 

Experience:

  • Considerable customer service and general office experience.

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of manufacturing and consultancy services would be of benefit.
