Senior Training and Curriculum Manager
Gtr Manchester and Sheffield - £35k

My client is a forward thinking, award winning training provider who have recently won a large contract delivering pre employment and skills for employment training
As a result they are looking to hire a number of Senior Training and Curriculum Managers. This post will be responsible for the successful design and delivery of industry relevant training and development. The training programme will meet the learner and employer needs in line with specific funding and quality standards.
Key Duties Include:
Planning
•Assist in the development of individual service area plans
•Develop detailed delivery plans and timetables which deliver agreed targets
•Review MI and agree and implement any corrective plans necessary

Business Development and Marketing
•Develop productive relationships with key partners to inform competitive curriculum and to identify market opportunities
•Evaluate and analyse learner, employer and staff feedback to inform curriculum offer so that it is competitive in the market meeting learner and employer needs.
•Translate curriculum offer into delivery models which are competitive and attractive to learners and employers in terms of operational practices
•Cooperate and collaborate with Skills and GC colleagues and teams, in agreement with the senior manager, in order to support the effective delivery of own and others’ service plans.
•Account manage key employers and participate in geographical and sector interest groups

Essential Skills:
•Ability to plan the efficient use of resource to maximize output
•Ability to effectively lead, manage and develop staff
•Ability to confidently present to partner organisations and other stakeholders
•Ability to produce written reports to a good standard
•Fluent user of ICT

Knowledge:
•Good understanding of the employability, training & employment industries
•Working knowledge of the principles of people management and employment law
•Understanding of MI and financial information
•Good labour market knowledge
