I am currently recruiting for an experienced AAT/Finance Tutor Assessor to join my client, an established Training Provider based in Manchester City Centre. They are one of the largest Training Providers in the Northwest and they are looking to strengthen their team due to increased success and growing business, with the addition of a new Tutor Assessor in their team.
The main purpose of the role to develop and deliver the curriculum for Certificate and Diploma AAT training in accordance with awarding body criteria and help to ensure that individuals progress and achieve appropriate qualifications.
•Provide tuition /training workshops to meet AAT standards
•Develop training resources, schemes of work, lesson plans and training evaluations.
•Deliver off-the-job training as required to facilitate the achievement of relevant qualification.
•Carry out reviews on learner’s progress, updating ALP trackers and assessment centre tracking systems.
•Ensure all documentation is processed appropriately.
•Monitor performance against individual and sector targets and produce appropriate management information as necessary.
•Develop and maintain sector, occupational knowledge within specialism in order to maintain professional credibility.
What are we looking for?
As the ideal candidate you will have previously worked as a AAT/Finance Tutor Assessor or in a very similar role. A background working in a Training Provider is also desirable.
The above is desirable but above all we are looking for the successful candidate for the role of Tutor Assessor to have the following:
•Previous experience as a Tutor Assessor within AAT/Finance
•Experience of delivery of training and one to one support.
•Excellent communication skills
•Sector specific training and evidence of continuing professional development
•Assessor qualifications (A Units, preferably V1)
•Knowledge of teaching and learning processes
•Must be occupationally competent and qualified
•Knowledge of implementation of NVQs, their delivery, assessment and verification.
•Knowledge of Apprenticeship frameworks.
•Good time management and administrative skills.
